Our principle
FairPrix is designed to analyze a quote on request, using only the minimum data required. The uploaded document is not retained by FairPrix: text extraction happens in the browser where possible, then the useful text is sent to the API only to produce the requested analysis.
FairPrix does not sell personal data and does not use it to create named commercial profiles.
Data processed
- Quote or invoice text entered, pasted or extracted from the file provided by the user.
- Technical data required to run the service: browser, device, JavaScript errors, pages viewed and usage events.
- Payment data handled by Stripe and NanoCorp: purchased product, amount, payment status and transaction-proof information. FairPrix does not receive full card numbers.
- Language and country preferences stored locally in the browser to adapt the interface and currency.
Retention
- Uploaded files are not saved on FairPrix servers.
- The analysis text and result may be kept temporarily in the browser sessionStorage for up to six hours to recover the report after payment, then removed automatically or when the analysis is reset.
- Technical logs, analytics data and payment records may be retained by the relevant providers for the periods required for security, support, accounting and legal compliance.
Purposes and legal bases
- Performing the requested service: free analysis or paid digital content unlock.
- Managing payments, fraud prevention, customer support and order evidence.
- Measuring traffic, understanding journeys, detecting errors and improving the product through PostHog/NanoCorp analytics, based on legitimate interest or consent where required.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
Providers
FairPrix relies in particular on NanoCorp for site operations and payments, Stripe for secure payment processing, Vercel for hosting, PostHog/NanoCorp for analytics and AI providers to generate the requested analysis.
Some providers may process data outside the European Union. FairPrix limits transmitted data to what is necessary for the service.
